Introduction
Meyer Defense was founded in 2019 by Jason Essazay, a former U.S. Marine and seasoned security contractor who served as a translator and operator for multiple U.S. government agencies in some of the world’s most volatile hotspots. Jason arrived in the U.S. as special immigration visa applicant, a testament to his dedication and service alongside U.S. forces. His military career, as an Infantryman in the Marine Corps instilled in him a profound sense of duty and commitment. Inspired by his experiences and the opportunities the U.S. provided, after years on the frontlines abroad, Jason created Meyer Defense to bring that same level of protection and professionalism to the Homefront while creating employment opportunities for fellow veterans and service members.
